# Account Profile

Your account profile controls how you appear to customers and teammates. Your name and avatar are shown next to messages you send in the [inbox](/docs/inbox/) and in the team member list.

## Avatar

Click your avatar and select **Upload from files** to upload a custom image. If you'd rather use the default initial-based avatar, select **Remove avatar**.

Uploaded images are resized and optimized automatically. The maximum file size is 5 MB.

## Multiple workspaces

Your profile is per-workspace. If you belong to more than one workspace, you can set a different name and avatar in each. Switch between workspaces from the dropdown in the sidebar.
