# Billing

Each workspace has its own billing subscription. Only workspace owners can manage billing.

## Usage

The billing page shows current usage across two categories:

- **Seats** — team member count vs. your plan limit.
- **Active conversations** — current conversations vs. your plan limit.

## Managing your subscription

Optlo uses Stripe for payment processing. From the billing page you can:

- **Subscribe** — choose a plan from the pricing table.
- **Manage** — open the Stripe billing portal to update payment methods, switch plans, or cancel.

When a plan change is scheduled (downgrade or cancellation), a notice is displayed with the effective date.

## Free trial

New workspaces start with a [free trial](/sign_in?new). The billing page shows the trial end date and current usage.
